Avanzando Pathways originated in a Humanities Lab course at Arizona State University. Under the guidance of Drs. Dulce Gonzales-Estévez and Mara Lopez, our lab created various projects to support pathways to education in Maryvale Village. This includes a college essay workshop, higher education panel, and more. Our site intends to help students (1) connect with resources in their pursuit of higher education and (2) learn about the multicultural history of their state. In addition, we seek to highlight the importance of supporting Arizona youth and working toward educational equity. We will continue to add to our website as we gain more resources, and hope to translate our resources into Spanish soon.
This website was initiated by ASU students Lynette Hrabik, Joseph Rotella, Nithya Raman, Adriana Gonzalez-Chavez and Ethan Scheider. |
